The written word has the ability to allow us to imagine and invoke feelings of the sublime, - to sit with and ponder on life's great mysteries, the grandeur of nature, or call forth certain ecstasies and activate healing within ourselves. I find immense beauty in classic, romantic, and gothic literature, poetry, and ancient prayers and will often refer to their lessons or read poetry during my lullaby sessions.
